A Walk in the Park with a good friend – taken in Geddes Park (aka the Duck Park) in Ann Arbor, Michigan
As this Black Friday draws down, a quick peak of one of my favorite places to go, The Grove in Los Angeles. A quick glimpse of the massive Christmas Tree in the rear, with the Water Fountain in the foreground- and if you look close, not only will you see Santa above, but the Hobbit below…
Picture of some Palm Trees in California with a nice bit of play between the sunshine and the clouds during what photographers call “the Golden Hour”.
As you drive along Wilshire Boulevard in West Los Angeles, along Museum Row in the Miracle Mile region, you can see the largest piece of the Berlin Wall outside of Germany. This is a photograph showing the front of it, which faced West Berlin. Large portraits of John F. Kennedy and Ronald Reagan are the most noticeable artwork, but there is a wealth of modern art alone the stone face of this monument to division, and then, breaking free.
As the Berlin Wall was torn town in mid-November of 1989, a brief glimpse of it seem appropo.
