Set up the camera on Wilshire Boulevard in Los Angeles in the center island, directly adjacent to the La Brea Tar Pits at night, facing East (towards downtown LA), and captured some long exposure photographs. You can see the Screen Actors Guild (now SAG-AFTRA) building in the foreground, as well as the G4 & E! Entertainment offices and the outdoor seating for The Counter.

Taking a break by going to the end of the Santa Monica Pier is something I do on occasion- the waves, the feeling of being in the ocean, the occasional big one that buffets the pier… One night, I decided to capture some of the amusement park on the pier, including the world famous Ferris Wheel, (which got a new lighting outfit a few years back). This is the result.
