The Wings of Goodbye

The Wings of Goodbye

As we close out 2012 – aside from chuckling at “Mayan” Prophecy believers – time to review the ups and downs of this year. The Space Shuttle Endeavour flies past the Hollywood Sign

The Space Shuttle Endeavour flies past the Hollywood Sign on its final flight, 21 Sep 12.

If you have seen the awesome picture of the Shuttle in front of the Hollywood sign, I feel I should tell you something, from a photojournalistic standpoint- those are bullshit. The Shuttle never flew in front of the Hollywood sign, only behind. I was at the Griffith Observatory, and saw witnessed/photographed the entire journey of Endeavour that grand summer day- never happened.

So, those pictures? Bullshit- or Photoshop.
